Truth figures prominently in my life and my painting. I am determined to offer a genuine response to what my spirit is directing me to say on the canvas. I am in awe of my Maker’s creation and thankful when I make small successes in interpreting it with the gifts that I have been given. I am also grateful to the many patrons who have supported me over the years on this wonderful journey.

The western landscape is a world that we are a part of, a world that we must live with. I hope that the paintings in this duo exhibition will remind us of its beauty and encourage us to preserve it.
