We received an urgent call yesterday from editor Portia Priegert, of Galleries West Magazine as she was captivated by the paintings and the advertisement for Solo Exhibition "Works in Play" by Jessamyn Box. She requested an interview with Jessamyn to feature her in today's article "Cheery and whimsical paintings offer a lift in dreary pandemic times."
This is wonderful article by Portia, on point to portray the artist's playful, imaginative and uplifting nature of Jessamyn's work. As owner, and curator of Soul Gallery, "having her work on the walls simply makes me happy." (Julie Walsh) Her work has sold out quickly in the gallery.
