As an artist, I work to develop paintings that speak both to me and to others about beauty and the human condition. Part of my process before I begin painting is to research a certain culture or idea to germinate a subject matter for my canvas. Sometimes, I draw with spontaneity until a subject matter pleases me. Once chosen, I practice drawing and painting the subject matter, numerous times, seeking for the right model piece. The right model piece guides the production my composition onto the canvas. Then, I paint.
My painting techniques have been inspired by my own experiments, Milos Milidrag, and Henry Matisse. The mediums I use include acrylic paints, along with various drawing utensils, such as pencils or charcoal.
